Community Partners Unite to Commemorate 4th Overdose & Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Day in Hastings, MN
Hastings, Mn ─ In collaboration with Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, the Devin J. Norring Foundation with the generous sponsorship from The Confluence Hotel and the United Way of Hastings is proud to announce Hastings 4th Overdose & Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Day on August 27th, 2024.
This significant event, which is open to the public and free of charge, aims to raise awareness and honor the lives lost to overdose and fentanyl poisoning. The Confluence Hotel, located at 200 W. 2nd St., Hastings, MN 55033, will open its doors to the public at 6 pm, with the program officially commencing at 7 pm.
We are honored to have the following speakers in attendance: Mayor Mary Fasbender, Hastings Police Chief, Chief Wilske; DEA ASAC Raffei Mattei; Tiffany Neuharth, Rise Up Recovery; Bridgette Norring, Founder, Devin J. Norring Foundation, and more.
In a touching tribute, The Confluence Hotel will illuminate its cupulas a radiant purple, symbolizing remembrance and honoring the memory of those who lost their lives to an overdose or fentanyl poisoning. In conjunction with this, Mayor Mary Fasbender will issue the Proclamation for Overdose & Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Day.
United Heroes League is also a proud supporter of the evening’s event, generously providing a signed Minnesota Twins, Justin Morneau that will be silent auctioned on the evening of the event. Caring Hands Massage & Spa is also a proud supporter of the evening's event, generously providing a gift that will be raffled on the evening of the event.
